About the Author

Kat Gilbert grew up in NE Portland, OR and so the city and the many surrounding natural trails around it color her world. She began writing poetry while studying in Ireland She then received her B.A. in English from Seattle University and her Master’s in Education from Portland State University. She has previously been published in Buck Off Magazine and Mutabilis Press.
