About the Author

Todd E. Creason is the father of two daughters, and lives with his wife, Valerie, near his hometown in rural Illinois.

He is an active Freemason, and currently Master of his local lodge. He became a Mason in 2005, and shortly after, began researching and writing the Famous American Freemasons series. The first book in the series was released in 2007, and the second in 2009. He also published a collection of quotes A Freemason Said That? Great Quotes of Famous Freemasons.

He is a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and also a member of the York Rite. He belongs to several Masonic research organizations, including the Illinois Lodge of Research, the Missouri Lodge of Research, the Philalethes Society, and the Scottish Rite Research Society. Todd has been elected to receive the 33rd Degree of the Scottish Rite in Chicago in 2011.

Besides writing, his hobbies include reading, studying history, and fishing. An accomplished piano player, he performed in local bands for more than twenty years, playing everything from rock & roll, to country and blues.
