About the Author

After twenty-five years of chasing the bad guys on the streets of Los Angeles, the author retired from the
LAPD to chase his toddler around the house. Instead of dragging a war bag to the trunk of a police car
everyday, he began tossing a stroller and a diaper bag into his SUV for another "daddy and daughter
adventure day.” After his daughter graduated with a degree in nano engineering, the aging street cop moved
to the White Mountains of Arizona. When he isn't building furniture or strolling through the forest, he's working
