Dr. Santos is professor emeritus from Baruch College, City University of New York. coauthor of Spanish Modular Approach, vol. I,II, Iii, Harper & Row, 1976; Paso a Paso, Holt, Rinehard, Winston, 1978. Autor of Español Comercial, Harper & Row, 1981. Has published many articles in very prestigious Latin American literary journals of Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and Spain. Won several Scholarships from the Ford Foundation, and Woodrow Wilson. Has published books of short stories and poetry, Temario, El largo Hábito de la Soledad, Temática en 5-7-5. Has an unpublished Critical study on the poetry of Pedro Salinas.
