This book contains powerful testimonies of God's grace and greatness in my life, even when I could not recognize His plan at work. Psalm 91 has acted as the personification of my life and how God has covered me and my family in my journey. My daughter's fight through mental illness first led me to write this book, and as my writing progressed, God took me on a journey through Psalm 91 discovering a deeper meaning behind Psalm 91. From there, I was able to see Him as the only constant in my life from childhood to adulthood. God is always working for your good, no matter how challenging or dire things may look. I pray that as you read through my testimonies, you are inspired to persevere and continue to seek God.
Each testimony is a reflection of the Psalm 91 verse. The Pause, Reflect, and Find God sections in the book is a beautiful practice that allows you to slow down and truly see how God is present and working in your life, even during the most difficult times. It's easy to rush through life and miss those moments of divine intervention, but Psalm 91 reminds us that God is always there, ready to answer our prayers and deliver us from trouble. It is an opportunity to think through your journey in life and find your own testimony in each verse of Psalm 91. Sometimes we rush through life and can't see God working in our lives. He is present. Psalm 91, Verse 15 "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him" confirms His presence even through your most painful moments. As you reflect, meditate on how things are and how things could have been, and you will find yourself mesmerized at the goodness of God's grace in your life.
