Similar to Anton Webern's (1883-1945) Bagatelles in it's use of twelve tones and brevity, Fünf Stücke (Five Pieces) is composed of five short pieces for chamber orchestra written between 1911 and 1913. Webern conducted the premiere in Zurich in 1926.
