About the Author

The author first enjoyed fishing as a child with his grandparents. Enjoying this he encountered fly-fishing as an early teen. Having income from a paper route at twelve years old and a nearby department store with a modest fishing department, purchased a bare bones fly fishing outfit that set him on a life’s journey as a fly fisher. As often happens with age, the author took stock of the journey and decided there may be wisdom to share with others on their journey. This book is the culmination of this effort.
