"Fly High, Together" is based upon my own real-life experiences over the years. After many changes in my life over the past few years, I was forced to take another look at what I was doing, where I was headed, and why. While pondering these things, I realized that I had basically given up on many of my childhood dreams, and looking back, could actually see how they had faded from my mind over the years. Being with my own daughter now, who is 10 years old at the time of this writing, gives me pause because she is obviously in "dream mode" as I once was, and she has rekindled the dreams that I so strongly held, once upon a time. Having come from a background that was short on encouragement of artistic pursuits, I felt as if my ability to "fly high" and reach my dreams had been hindered. Seeing this, I decided that not only can I begin to learn to fly to my dreams, but I can go there side-by-side with my daughter, and she will always have someone to encourage her to keep her dreams alive - as long as I live.
