About the Author

Yvette Lynn Burrel is the 10th child out of 12 children born to Bishop William L. & Dr. Willi B. Burrel. Yvette is very passionate about encouraging and inspiring all that come in contact with her. Yvette is the proud mother of three children; Amber, Whitney, & Austin Davis. Yvette has one loving grandson Britain. Yvette holds a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree and also an Associate in Science & Arts degree. Yvette served as the Minister of Music for Christ Temple Apostolic Church for more than 25 years and also served at Apostolic Church of God Muskegon an additional 10 years, for a total of 35 plus years as Minister of Music. Yvette held the office as an Instructor for five years at the Western Michigan Bible Institute, where she taught the “The God Head Oneness of God”. Yvette made dual history by becoming the very first female and first African American female to receive the distinguished honor of being selected as All State first round pick in woman’s basketball in Michigan. Yvette has been inducted into her high schools Hall of Fame, Orchard View of Muskegon, Michigan where a plaque with her picture is displayed for her outstanding achievements in woman’s basketball. Yvette has two books coming soon “The Mask of a Bishops Daughter” and “Secret Rendezvous”.
