This 14th studio album from the seminal Gothenburg melodeath masters and the follow-up to 2019's I, The Mask, Foregone is their first to feature new guitarist Chris Broderick (ex-Megadeth). Produced once again by Howard Benson (Three Days Grace, Escape the Fate), the record has a raw, bass-heavy, crunchy sound, with their usual highly melodic lines and harmonic solos present and correct, and a philosophical tone engendered by the imposed isolation of the COVID-19 lockdown.
