About the Author

After graduating from Southern Oregon University, Murphy taught high school English in Yreka, California for thirty years. He began his playwright career by writing and producing his first musical comedy, “The Sex King of Siskiyou County,” in 1978 for the Siskiyou Performing Arts Center. More than seventy shows followed, most of which now appear on Lazy Bee Publishing in the UK or Playscripts and Eldridge Publishing in the US.
