About the Author

Kathryn O’Brien lives in Southern California with her husband of thirty years and their goofy golden retriever, Hurley. When not writing, this mom of three adult children and assistant principal can usually be found at school having fun with her students and downing coffee with her teacher friends. She also loves reading all sorts or books, finding new Netflix shows, and hiking in the canyon near her home. With eight published children’s titles, from board books to middle grade chapter books, Kathryn loves to write for kids and their moms.

Mariano Epelbaum is a character designer, illustrator, and traditional 2D animator. He has worked professionally since 1996 in various disciplines of animation and illustration. He was the art director and character designer for the animated movie Underdogs, directed by Oscar-winning Juan José Campanella.
