From Planning to Profit
This book is about strategic planning, the first key element of success followed by business planning, the second key element that is required to transform your law practice.
When I discover a frustrated individual I usually find that they have wandered off their chosen path for one of three reasons.
1. They never had a clear vision so the map they were following was so general that it led nowhere.
2. They got caught up in someone else’s vision and lost sight of their own.
3. They never defined their values or were not true to those values they defined, which clouded their view of the true path.

About the Author

I was raised in upstate New York and landed with IBM out of college; for thirty plus years I lived the IBM philosophy. I ended up in management and felt my life was exactly the way it should be. But like Cheryl says, sometimes you get a wake-up call.
Cheryl Leone dropped into my life (came more like an explosion) while I was doing private consulting with Blue Cross on their Y2K venture. Through Cheryl, I met Beth (her daughter) and the next thing I knew I was learning how law firms work (and why they don't). I was realizing that my vast experience in my international travels made sense to others. I was excited about getting up and going to work. And I found out that I had a message to deliver.
Strategic Planning and 360 High Performance Training is my forte! I have a deep belief that you must make a plan that will drive your law firm. You must then properly train and teach your most valuable resource - the people who work with you. You must instill in the leadership of the practice or business a belief and then hire people who believe in a similar fashion.
