About the Author

Golden Penman, MBA was born in Georgetown, Guyana, and grew up in Queens, NYC. He believes in effective change through participation. A realist, he has spent an entire lifetime fighting against the status quo and what keeps society from being great. Knowing that it's not enough to survive, one has to thrive, he has conquered social injustice, racial discrimination, and anyone who would strive to make others feel uneasy.

A writer, a poet, a father, mentor, and life coach, Golden believes in sharpening the saw. While teaching high school English he decided to "practice what he taught," and started writing his first novel. In addition to novel writing, he enjoys writing rhyming poetry (from growing up listening to hip hop music).
