About the Author

A bread baker for 30 years, John Tenny has given away over 2500 loaves of fresh bread in memory of his wife Sue. Married for 55 years, he carries on her giving nature. In addition, as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he loves working with kids of all ages to introduce them to the joys of baking homemade bread.

He lives with Bella, an overly friendly small dog, loves the Oregon coast, plays the piano, and does clever woodworking. Drawing on his earlier life as a carpenter, teacher, and software developer, he is the family's go-to-person for problem-solving. His companion Grace joins him on 10,000-mile road trips in a small RV with New York as the next destination.
