About the Author

Stephen Wiehe has been a resident of Austin, Texas for seventeen years and is the author of G-Day, Rendezvous with Eagles. Steve has a deep love for God, Country, his family, the veteran and those who have sacrificed it all to keep us free. He is proud to have served in the Army and honored to have served with the greatest Army division in history, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

After the Gulf War, Stephen was promoted to Staff Sergeant and worked as a Fire Support Non-Commissioned Officer for Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) where he concluded his career in the Army. While in the Army, he was awarded four Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, the Southwest Asia Service Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters, the Liberation of Kuwait Service Medal, the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with the numeral 2 device, the National Defense Service Ribbon with one oak leaf cluster, two Good Conduct Medals, and the Army Service Ribbon.

Besides writing books, Steve is active in veteran's affairs as an advocate for the men and women who have served their country.
