About the Author

Darla Desiderio is both artist and author. She creates colorful abstract artwork and has written the children’s book series, Gage the Flying Whippet.

Darla grew up in the beautiful mountains of Bernardsville, New Jersey, surrounded by nature. She now resides in Arkansas, the Natural State. Having no children of her own to nurture, Darla hopes her legacy will be the wisdom she imparts in her children’s stories. In the Gage the Flying Whippet series, children can find inspiration by reading about characters who learn to triumph over personal and familial conflict with the help of a special canine.
