The premise of this book is simple: cities and states in The United States
locations of great union jobs. Many of these jobs are looking for apprentices
to train on-the-job, such as in the construction industry. At this time in the USA
many people are facing hardships of unemployment or low-paying jobs by
either not knowing where the jobs are or they don't have the skills to get hired.
This book gives you the knowledge of information as to where you can start to
look for work.
I decided to write this book because I saw that people were unaware of jobs
that are right in their hometown or a close drive away. It may take some
time to get into the union once you apply for membership, but once you do you
will reap the benefits of making good money and learning a trade. I have firsthand
knowledge because I've worked with several unions in my hometown and
I was indecisive about which one I wanted to settle with because they all were
so great and I learned skills that will last a lifetime.
