About the Author

Mord McGhee is an award-winning author of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and literary fiction, based in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States of America. He is a Board Member of Rowayat.org (Canada) and an associate editor for Ariel Publishing and Parsec SFF. Two unpublished manuscripts are Claymore Award Finalists in '22, and upcoming books include Ironblood, The Seven Children of God, Anna's Odyssey and Holy Water. The novella The Stroke of Oars and chapbook Mind Poker are slated for 2023 by Nat1 Publishing and Audience Askew. Mord is also an associate executive producer for upcoming feature film The Man in the White Van starring Sean Astin and Ali Larter and My Dead Friend Zoe starring Morgan Freeman and Ed Norton. Mord is a former columnist for The Horror Within Magazine, has been an editor of various anthologies, and is a previous Honorable mention in L. Ron Hubbard's 'Writers of the Future.' Mord's influences are as eclectic as his creations, which lean towards magic realism, horror, fantasy, and science fiction coming in unlikely happenings. Steven Brust, Mark Twain, Glen Cook, Robert E. Howard, Ambrose Bierce, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Gilderoy Lockhart, and Ernest Hemingway are some of his creative influences.
