About the Author

Jodi Wheeler-Toppen is a former science teacher with a PhD in science education. She has been fascinated by insects for years, and even raised dung beetles in her classroom! Jodi is the author of a number of science books for children and teachers. Her activity book Science Experiments that Explode and Implode was a Junior Library Guild Selection in 2011. Jodi lives in Atlanta with her family.

Haus Estudio is a group of colleagues and friends who started as young self-publishers back in 1997 in Argentina. Their works have been published in USA, UK, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, and South America. Haus Estudio runs its own school of art and, as a group, organized the biggest Latin American comic-book convention, among many other shows and exhibitions. The group also travels around the country and abroad attending conventions and giving lectures. Haus Estudio is a multi-style arts studio, specializing in comics and illustration. Its offices are located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but the group works for various companies, publishers, and writers around the world.
