The spirit of Heath’s deceased grandfather, introduced to M.J. by the spirit of her late mother, fears an ancient evil spirit is determined to kill all the Whitefeathers. The difficult personal politics of the Zanto Pueblo add complexity to the plot, while the antics of M.J.’s hypochondriac gay best friend, Ghoul Getters producer Gillie Gillespie, and her parrot, Doc, provide comic relief.
