About the Author

Jasmine R. Owens is the author of, Girls Can Dream, her debut children's book. She lives outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two children who constantly inspire her to create. As a first-generation graduate of Spelman College, her first children's book was born out of her passion to educate and expose children early to the many career choices in the world.

Morenike Olusanya, popularly known as Renike, is a Nigerian visual artist, with a background in graphic design. She works as a freelance graphic artist, traditional artist and illustrator. She has, over the years, built expertise and gained recognition, both locally and internationally, as an illustrator. She enjoys creating art that centers and portrays the life of black women. She has worked with brands such as Dark & Lovely, Routledge amongst others.
