Following 2021's Hot Sauce/Hello Future era, K-pop group NCT Dream launched a new cycle with Glitch Mode. Arriving in 2022, this sophomore full-length featured the band's energetic blend of hard-edged hip-hop, smooth R&B harmonies, and beat-heavy dance anthems. Those propulsive moments are the clear standouts, with the head-bobbing "Glitch Mode" and the stomping singalong "Saturday Drip" grabbing immediate attention. The chaotic "Fire Alarm," which combines fun vocalizations of the titular sounds with festival-worthy electronic dance euphoria, and the retro-smooth "Better Than Gold" are also highlights.
