Anybody who meets me for the first time knows one thing about me straight off the bat: I love cooking. And even that is an understatement! Cooking is not just another hobby for me. While some people may turn to it for exercising their stress away, I have always believed that cooking delicious food acts as a better stress reliever for me. Nothing makes me happier than spending my time surrounded with various ingredients that are just waiting for me to put my unique spin on them! My interest in cooking encouraged me to pursue a Bachelors' degree in Cooking. Of all the decisions I have ever made, studying cooking professionally as a subject is definitely one of the best ones. I have spent the last 20 years of my life specializing in Caribbean and French cuisines. The fact that there are still so many cuisine items that I have yet to try gives me something to look forward to. I genuinely feel that part of the reason why I am still alive is this anticipation. And the other part of my raison d'être is my beautiful family. I am married to the most beautiful woman on the planet for the last fifteen years and counting. My wife and I also have four darling kids, two boys and two daughters. Chico, our adorable dog completes our family. We are all settled in France. While we lead happily blessed lives in France, I am originally from Saint Martin. So, by now, you probably have a better understanding of why French and Caribbean cuisines, both, are my forte! Hence, after having spent the last twenty years of my life completely devoting them to cooking the best food I can, I believe that everybody in this world has a story to tell and you never know whose story might just really hit home with somebody. I was eager to share my story which has stemmed from a lot of internal as well as external conflicts with the rest of the world and hence thought that a book of my own is in order. I like to think that my book's message despite being immensely personal is also something which is very relatable. Cooking is something which has worked out splendidly well for me; I am hopeful that my book, "Global Conflict Desolation" would be equally kind to me as well. Let's see how it goes!
