Dwight David Croy is retired and the author of
God’s Focus on the Fatherless (2016). He came to know Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and has served the Lord in a variety of teaching and serving roles in the body of Christ until entering the ministry as a pastor, military army chaplaincy, and teaching juvenile boys in an Eckerd residential home under the North Carolina Department of Justice and Safety for an overall forty years of experience. Croy obtained a BRE at Multnomah University, an MDIV at Denver Seminary, and a DMIN at George Fox University. Married to Karen for over forty years with two children, Jonathan and Amber, Croy is now blessed with three grandchildren: Caleb, Ada, and Joshua.
Dwight retired from Active Duty in the Army on 30 November 2014. Then received a Doctor of Ministry through George Fox University in May 2015. Now enjoys the blessing of grandchildren in North Carolina. He wrote a non-fiction book, "God's Focus on the Fatherless" receiving a "Literary Titan" Award.
He has taught Juvenile Boys for seven years in a non-profit residential home that services the Department of Corrections and Safety in North Carolina. God has laid on his heart the plight of the fatherless and is now working on a series of books for boys in the area of Historical Fiction. He works now as a volunteer chaplain, teacher, and speaker as needed and requested.
God has been faithful to place the family in places of crises and opportunities to influence the next generations.

His 2023 Book is now followed up with "God's Illuminating Blindness" Book Two in the series, "The Way of Aram."
