About the Author

My walk with God has been a tedious and treacherous journey. As a young girl, I was taught to be independent, analytical, logical, resilient, and determined. In doses, these traits can be great, but for me, they were a recipe for a disastrous relationship with God. As I have been growing up I have been slowly learning to trust and give myself over to the Lord. It has been a slow process with many highs and lows. Characteristics that are ingrained in us from a young age are hard to give up, but God can reach anyone from anywhere! Everyone has their own special way to connect with God and learn from His word. For me, daily activities such as devotionals, Bible studies, and prayers are how I have been able to build up my relationship with our Father. When I shopped around for a prayer journal that would help my specific personality type move closer to God I could not find anything! On a whim, I decided to venture out and make a journal for myself. As I worked and worked, I thought there might be others out there who would benefit from a journal of this style. My hopes and dreams are that this simple book can help you move closer to God and truly grow your relationship.
