About the Author

Dr. J. Michael Miller graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1956 and served as a Naval Officer for eight years, mostly on submarines. After leaving the Navy, he attended Boston University School of Theology and Graduate School, earning a PhD in Biblical Studies, Old Testament. He served churches in Massachusetts, Illinois and Georgia. For seven years, he was an Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Oral Roberts University School of Theology.

Dr. Miller passed away in July 2015. He is remembered far and wide for his intelligence, his sense of humor, and his ability to challenge and teach, making the message of the Bible relevant to daily life.
