About the Author

William was an Executive Engineer with a major auto company until he retired in 2001. He moved to Sedona in 2002 and began hiking the Sedona trails. On these hikes he took numerous photos, compiled GPS "tracks," and made comprehensive trail notes. William continues to hike the trails in Sedona and constantly updates trail information.

David was a music professor and associate dean of the College of the Arts at a major midwestern university until he retired in 2003. After moving to Sedona, he began hiking with a local hiking group. He is an enthusiastic photographer, and he has hiked over 100 trails in the Sedona area.
