Dr. Seuss would delight in this presentation of his work. For those of us steeped in the illustrations of Dr. Seuss’s work, it’s surprising that the spoken words stand so well on their own. They do, very well, and offer a whole new dimension for appreciating a fine collection of Seuss favorites. Each narrator in the ensemble, Jason Alexander, David Hyde Pierce, and Michael McKean, conveys sparkle and dimension. Pause and pace are used deftly.
