About the Author

Originally from Haiti, Berlin Julien Theodore moved to the United States at a very young age. He's lived
primarily in Pennsylvania, but have spent some time in New York, Virginia and Connecticut. He has a bachelor's degree from Cheyney University, a Master's degree from Temple University, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the District of Columbia-David A. Clarke School of Law. He has worked for the Department of Defense for 17 years in various capacities. Berlin has supported our service members in a variety of leadership positions throughout the world. Berlin has deployed to Iraq, Korea, Kuwait and most recently Haiti in support of the relief effort after the January 12, 2010, catastrophic earthquake. For his efforts, Berlin has received all the highest civilian awards from the Department of Defense. He has also attended Harvard University-Kennedy School of Government a Senior Executive Fellow. Recently, Berlin has taken a leave of absence from pursuing a degree in Chiropractor at the University of Bridgeport in order to spend more time with his family. He now spends his time as author and CEO for his publishing company , TEODOR 1 Incorporated.
