Journalist Miho Zhugai is killed in the newspaper office. In the morning, he was found with a knitting needle stuck in his ear. They find a note in his pocket: "He is here." The prosecutor's office investigator Nagornyak and Opera Chornyi begin an investigation and discover that dozens of people may have wanted the journalist's death for his publications. But the version about the murder for professional activity had to be rejected. A group of Zhugay's former classmates comes to the city and wants to make a film about their youth.
