About the Author

Dave Covill discovered Colorado on a geology field trip in college. He works for a oil and gas company and lives in Evergreen, Colorado with his wife, Becky, and son, Chris. Originally from rural Illinois, John Drew Mitchler came to Colorado as an employee of an environmental engineering firm. He has climbed to the high points of 45 states and was the first person to reach the high point of every county in Colorado. He lives in Golden, Colorado.
