About the Author

Salvatore Bizzarro is Professor Emeritus of Romance Languages at the Colorado College, where he has taught Latin American Literature and courses on Italian Literature and culture for 46 years, retiring in 2015. He was the founder of The Mexico and the Italian abroad programs, initiated in 1971 (Mexico) and I989 (Italy). He also co-taught a course for more than a decade on Literature and the Mass Media in Chile with Antonio Skármeta.
