About the Author

Mike Martin is a graduate of Cal State University at Fresno and the University of Northern Colorado who has written two books about communities that came into being after land in the Oklahoma Indian Territory became available for outside settlement. His narrated multimedia presentations based on these books have been hosted by a variety of organizations. Mike was born Henryetta, Oklahoma. Today, he and his wife Ginny and son Damen live in Tomball, Texas.
