Overview

This is the story of Hank Williams' journey during WW2 on Hacksaw Ridge from a nonbeliever in God, mercy and forgiveness to a man of goodness, mercy and faith in the almighty God. He gets stranded on the battlefield of Hacksaw Ridge with an enemy Japanese soldier named Asahi Kono, who speaks English and is not the same as his fellow Japanese soldiers. During their time together Hank William's heart is changed by what he learns and gains from his time with Asahi Kono on Hacksaw Ridge.
