Overview

By tomorrow, everyone will know. It'll be the headline of the morning paper. There will be posters and signs warning people that monsters do exist. The worst part is, it will be all my fault. The problem was, I'd tried to be human. But I'm not.
At fourteen, I was bitten and turned into a werewolf. The same night my parents were slaughtered. That was the last time I was in my hometown of New Orleans. Until today. I came home to check on an old friend and found myself in a dangerous situation, face-to-face with the one who bit me. The Alpha of New Orleans.
The Alpha wanted me to join his pack. Because I was an Omega, I had the ability to calm other wolves. And he wasn't taking no for an answer. He had plans to combine several packs to be able to start a war with the humans, bringing werewolves into the light. So, I had two options. Run and be free. Or stay and fight.
I had every intention of putting as much distance between me and him as possible, but fate had other plans. Turns out, it's hard to run away when you hear innocents getting killed. What if I was too late? What if the Alpha succeeded in starting a war, setting a course that the world might not be ready for yet?

About the Author

I've been writing since I was ten years old, starting with poetry. I entered a school competition and won best in school, at which point my poem moved on to county. I wrote poetry from elementary school through high school. It was at that point I discovered my love of screenplays. I wrote several. A few years later I decided to write my first book, 'A Taste of Moonlight'. There are a few sequel ideas I'm playing around with. The next book I wrote is called 'Too Many Alphas'. I do have a thing for werewolves. Any book I write will likely involve them or at least some kind of shifter. Along with writing, I also have a love for traveling. In 2020 a friend and I bought a school bus and converted it into a Skoolie. We now drive it around the country, exploring new places along the way. When I'm not driving the bus to new adventures or writing about them in my books, you'll usually find me out hiking, kayaking, binge-watching my favorite shows, or curled up with a good book.
