About the Author

Dr. Matulich is a licensed clinical psychologist who has lived and worked in the San Diego area and Southern California for over 25 years. He has worked with people from all walks of life including military personnel, homeless people, hospitalized patients, and private practice clients helping them overcome psychological problems ranging from addictions to severe mental illness. Dr. Matulich is a consultant and trainer and he continues to work clinically with veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.Dr. Matulich was introduced to Motivational Interviewing in 2004 and quickly became impressed with the approach as a way to work with all kinds of psychological and medical issues. He was approved to offer training and workshops in Motivational Interviewing by the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) in 2006 and has since trained hundreds of people of many different disciplines. Dr. Matulich is approved to offer continuing education credits to psychologists, social workers, MFTs, and addiction counselors, People who have benefited from Dr. Matulich’s workshops include psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists and mental health counselors of all kinds, medical doctors, addiction counselors, health counselors, dietitians, pharmacists, nurses, life coaches, and at least one acupuncturist.
