Karen Osborne is the owner of Kay's Touch Consulting and also the author of ”How to Love A Godly Man.” A bit of her background. She has over 35 years as a Community Service Advocate in various departments for the state of Ohio. Her credentials include certification and membership with the AACC as a Marriage Works counselor, certification and membership with CPD as a Life Coach, along with being a Motivational Speaker, Spiritual Counselor, and Mentor. Previous member of the ministry of the Daughters of Shaw-haw and currently performing couples coaching with my husband who is the Assistant Pastor of NJF Pierre Osborne.
Now tell us about your book
My new book How to Love A Godly man is a self-help book to give couples more definitive answers on how to care for each other in a relationship/ marriage in accordance with God with biblical annotations. I share my experiences of courtship and marriage with my husband. It is intended to guide couples to understand their biblical roles and responsibilities to each other.
Often in relationships and even more so in Marriage, we forget that God gave us defined roles. Often, we listen to what society tells us that we should be doing instead of listening to God's directives and our partner's desires. "In marriage, we have to learn how to love each other properly.
You know it takes a lifetime to learn how to love someone properly but only a moment to try, and we should try to make as many moments as possible" (That's a quote from my friend's book The Aspects of a Wife). Marriage is the joining of two individuals to build one life. In accordance with God, my book “How to Love a Godly Man” gives an understanding of that ordinance to build a stronger bond and marriage.
