About the Author

The recipes are from my Mother's recipe files which were developed from notes from my Grandmother who homesteaded in South Dakota in 1908. I used my Mother's middle name and my Grandmother's maiden name for the author name. It was to give credit where credit is deserved. Both my Mother and Grandmother were wonderful bakers and cooks. The tables was always full of great dishes, desserts, etc. They canned everything from their gardens, made jelly,jam and great pickles and also canned meats. .
