About the Author

A priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Rev. Lawrence Mick holds degrees in philosophy, theology, and ministry from the Athenaeum of Ohio and a master's degree in liturgical studies from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the North American Academy of Liturgy. Rev. Mick has served in several parishes as associate pastor and as pastor, in campus ministry, in retreat ministry, and in the Archdiocesan Worship Office. Currently ministering as a consultant and writer, he is the author of over twelve hundred articles in various publications as well as such books as To Live As We Worship; Understanding the Sacraments Today; and Worshiping Well: A Mass Guide for Planners and Participants.
