About the Author

My name is Kim Kubat and I’m a wife and mother to three adult children. I love telling stories, especially to children. One day the children asked if I could make up a story. I was happy to do so, but once the story ended, the children wanted me to repeat it. I did not record myself and I tried my best to retell the story from memory. The kids pointed out that I missed some parts, so from that day forward, I recorded myself so I could retell it word for word. Now that the years have passed, I thought about those stories, and thought perhaps other children would love to hear them too. I have been learning Spanish and I know schools are teaching it, so I decided to publish the book in English and Spanish. I hope you and your children enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed creating it.
