About the Author

Diagnosed with ASD at age 5, Paola discovered her passion for creating art during her freshman year of high school. She also spent many years before coming to accept her condition as rewarding. I Am Unique, and That's Neat! allowed her to express her story through her artistic talent, and it will be her tool to inspire the following generation of kids with ASD and Asperger's to reflect an empowering view within themselves. The Venezuelan-American is currently residing in Houston, Texas, where she is actively working to earn a BFA in Graphic Design at Houston Christian University in order to expand her artistic opportunities in the vast media world, including in the gaming industry.
