About the Author

Jen Pettigrew was born in 1983 in Texas. She is the only girl in a family of five and is a twin. She is married and has five kids of her own, including a set of twins. She finds great joy in the kitchen where she likes to bake, cook and spend time around her kitchen table with the people she loves the most-her family and close friends. As a young kid, Jen was told she should write a children's book (or books), a sentiment she would hear repeated often throughout her life. It finally took having her third child, and many nights of nursing that baby to sleep, to compose the thoughts of her heart in song form. She sang this song over and over until she finally turned it into a children's book and has already begun writing more books to add to the first.
