This is a collection of stories about my life, my son Jake, and baseball. It is about the struggles I had to overcome to achieve my dream of playing professional baseball. In my pursuit, I learned that you really can do anything you want to, if you commit, and don’t ever, ever, ever, ever quit.
While chasing something I’ve always wanted, I found something that I loved even more. I became a father. I love being a dad I wanted to be the best dad I could possibly be.

About the Author

Joe Graves grew up dreaming of playing professional baseball. Through years of hard work, he acheived his goal. During that time, his position changed from Relief Pitcher to Full-Time Dad. He is a father of two, now grown up,children. He wrote his first book, I See Me In Your Eyes, for his son as a High School Graduation present. He currently resides in Tennessee where he sometimes will drive three hours to buy groceries, just to visit his daughter.
