About the Author

Hello! I am Brooke Santos, the creator and owner of I Speak Boutique, a retail consulting business. I've had the great fortune of working with fantastic companies for almost three decades. I learned how to be operationally efficient while I was an Executive at Target. Then as an Executive with Tiffany & Co. I got to dig into the world of niche selling. Running Stores at Ann Taylor/Loft Inc trained me in controlling the daily chaos of super busy stores. And finally, as a Regional Director for Macy's I developed the understanding of prioritization while working with 110 stores across the USA. Taking all the knowledge and experiences I gained during those times, I began I Speak Boutique to help Boss Babes learn how to grow their own businesses. Over the last several years, we have worked with hundreds of small businesses on developing their people, understanding their selling niche, focusing on the finances and working through the daily challenges of owning a business. With this book, we want to reach more small business owners and give you the information so you know how to grow your business and get it thriving!

I give this book 5 Stars! Very informative and loaded with content that would otherwise take years to learn. For small business owners information can be overwhelming, but this book is broken down in a way that is easy to understand and follow.

There is great information for all stages of small business ownership. I think there are great tips that not only teach you what to do with product, but also tell you how to move through it in a profitable way.

This book is a great guide to give you insight on things you wouldn't even think of when running a new business. My favorite part of the book is when you get examples and goals for a specific topic covered because it helps you understand them better.

I think ANY Business Owner can use this guide as an outline for their business. I learned a few things about running my back office of my business including budgeting for my overhead, and inventory expenses, and how to look at profit margins.
