The Gray Rose
5.0 out of 5 stars This cookbook is a must-have
I absolutely love this cookbook. The recipes are so easy, it's almost a lie to say you're cooking at all. The ingredients are minimal and so easy to get. So far, I've made the chicken Alfredo (I immediately wanted to make another, it was so good) and the BBQ'd Pulled Pork. Next is the Jambalaya. I can't wait!

5.0 out of 5 stars My new favorite cookbook!
You had me at "a cookbook for people who hate to cook". "I'd Rather Starve than Cook" caught my attention immediately. I am always looking for easy recipes because I don't enjoy cooking--but I still have to. Not only did this book provide easy recipes, but the stories about cooking fails that introduced each section were hilarious. I also enjoyed that the author organized the cookbook in a manner that I truly care about. Instead of the typical entree, breads, desserts, side dishes categories, she broke it down into ways to cook: stove top, Crock Pot, oven, and cheap and easy. She also includes a few easy fuller meals for those special occasions. This would have been an excellent book to have in college. A great book for anyone with busy lives or a limited budget.

5.0 out of 5 stars A COOKBOOK FOR EVERYBODY
"I'd Rather Starve than Cook! : A cookbook for people who hate to cook" is the ABC's of cooking that won't stress you out. Lisa M. Orban did a great job putting this book together. The first people I think of are men. They would love this book especially when they leave home and are on their own without mamma's cooking. But it is for everybody who wants a decent meal without having to use up a lot of time to prepare it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I hate to cook, but I loved this book!
I really loved the stories at the beginning of each chapter; it reminded me of my own house. If it takes more than 5 ingredients, or 15 minutes to cook...I'm out! I'd starve to death if it were not for breakfast cereal and donuts! But Lisa's recipes were straight-forward enough that even a non-cooking beast like me could follow the process
