Purpose: The purpose is to provide a concise review of orofacial structures, dental embryology, dental histology, and dental anatomy. In addition, it prepares dental and dental hygiene students with knowledge of basic sciences and integrating the clinical aspects of dentistry in preparation for the licensing examination.
Audience: The book is designed for graduating dental students and dental hygiene students preparing for their licensing examination. However, it is also a great resource for educators teaching the subject manner and for any current professionals to use as a review of dental structures. The authors are credible experts in the dental field with the credentials necessary to author a dental text. They have sought the expertise of other dental professional colleagues in the field.
