I purchased this book with the intent of giving it to my grandson to be born in December. After reading it I had to share with one of my friend's little girls. She worries that her skin color is too dark. "Happy Being Me" has a positive message that offers support to kids to love who they are. Wendy Massey, the author has hit on a topic that is so necessary in these days and times. Great job! I recommend it to schools and parents everywhere.
