About the Author

Victor Wang is a sojourner along with you on this journey of life. Jesus saved his life when he was 9 years old. Ever since then, Jesus has taken him on this incredible path through growth, back sliding, victories, defeats, deep abyss and awakenings. He feels deeply privileged and honored for the chance to share those experiences with you.

His son was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 years old. It is only after his son was diagnosed with autism did he realize, this Jesus wanted to be part of his life, a central part of his life. When the rubber meets the road, these outward activities did not and could not save his son. Only Jesus Himself can.

From that moment on, it’s been a journey to pursue the real Jesus. The Jesus that loves people and weeps for them. The Jesus that is full of mercy, ready and willing to forgive. The Jesus who touches, soothes and heals. Really, this is a book about how Jesus pursues us and not the meager strivings of us mere people running after Him.

The author’s wife, Denise, founded the ministry Autism Awakening over seven years ago. WWW.autismawakening.org is a comprehensive website designed to help children, family and community that are impacted by autism. The website contains the latest and most relevant medical research reports on autism, extensive material on teaching language and speech and fundamental information on applied behavioral analysis (ABA). The website also publishes stories of the journeys of families with autism. The goal of Autism Awakening is so that Chinese worldwide, 1) will receive accurate and comprehensive information on autism, 2) will be encouraged by each other and more importantly by God and 3) ultimately, carry out the call of “Awakening” for both the physical and spiritual person.
