About the Author

Born in Rochester, NY author Ebony McIntyre had to learn to overcome life's issues early on. With the strain of being a single parent living with Sickle Cell Anemia, overcoming everyday woes became necessary for survival. With a strong faith in Christ, overcoming her own feelings of doubt, depression, abandonment and confusion became not only possible, but easier with God at the forefront of it all. Using her gifts to write through her struggles, she now ministers to many through her platforms and advocacy programs. Her poetry has been highlighted locally and internationally. She is a business owner, author and patented inventor. She believes that if you gain control of your mind, you can gain control of your life.
